The story Is about the The Collegio of Poggio Imperiale, a public college in Florence where teenagers from all over the world live. There are 76 girls living there like they are back in the past; sleeping in the room where Mozart did his first concert when he was 14 years old, hanging out in the room where the abolition of the death penalty was signed for the first time in history back in 1700. It’s more of a museum, like could be Palazzo Pitti in Florence, where the king laws are still in force. It’s also a place that has almost never been visited, besides from the studens.
My pictures focus on the girls who live there, spend their time and life there. teenagers from all over the world, Dancers from Peru, Students from Lampedusa to China.
